Cesar's Shoe Repair Launches Online Service, CesarsShoeRepair.com
New York, NY (PRWeb) January 29, 2007 -- Cesar's Shoe Repair, the parent company of Andrade Shoe Repair, a venerable Manhattan institution, has launched a new website, www.cesarsshoerepair.com. Customers can now simply click their way to getting their shoes, bags and other leather items mended, as well as buy all the accessories that are seen in the corner shoe repair store.
Since 1976, Cesar Andrade's firm (under the name of Andrade Shoe Repair)has been re-heeling and soling the feet of busy New Yorkers, working with customers from all walks of life (pun intended), from busy office workers to the major department stores and Broadway theatre types. According to Edward Andrade, the chief executive, business has been steady and his customers are always appreciative of his service, so much so that he decided to try to reach more customers and make it easier for them to do business with him, by using the internet.
"Most Manhattanites are really busy, but everyone sometimes needs to get their favorite shoes fixed, and we wanted to make it easy for them to do it, without running down to the store to drop them off and then again to pick them up. So we've included free mailing with our website service. Now you can arrange for your repairs at home, hand the package to the mailman and get your shoes delivered back to you in a few days", said Mr. Andrade.
The website has a simple way to print out a prepaid mailing label from the customer's own computer, (see it at www.cesarsshoerepair.com/Mail_Label.php) which just has to be stuck to the outside of the boxed shoes. USPS and Cesar's Shoe Repair take care of the rest.
Another reason for the website is to reach new customers farther afield. "We give great service, and I think people around the country will appreciate that, if it's made easy for them to get their items to us. The mail can get us in contact with customers anywhere in the US, and we're looking forward to serving everyone, far and wide", said Mr. Andrade. He also noted that his firm is known for taking on difficult repair jobs that other firms don't handle. He adds, "Our phone number is in large type on our Home page. If you have a complicated shoe repair problem, a ripped leather bag, balky zipper, or rip and tear damage to your favorite leather item, we encourage you to phone to talk to one of our craftsmen. Chances are we can do the repair for you at a reasonable price."
After 30 years of doing things the old-fashioned way, Cesar's Shoe Repair is set to expand its horizons.
